The Westrend Group helps clients manage change. 

Our work is primarily with senior executives and Boards. Assignments include:


  • consulting on strategic planning and organizational change 
  • presentations for Boards and management groups on subjects such as how to assess the potential impacts of changes in the external environment, strategic planning, emerging technologies and managing organizational change
  • facilitating Board or management retreats.

Clients have included speeches and consulting assignments for state and national associartions and companies in telecommunications, manufacturing, banks, real state, government agencies and hospitals and health care systems.

Michael Annison has written four books.The first was the award winning Managing the Whirlwind: Patterns and Opportunities in a Changing World. The second, Trust Matters – New Dimensions in Healthcare Leadership was co-authored with Dan Wilford, former President of the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston, Texas. The third focused on Organizing for Good – What it Takes to Achieve Sustainable Success. The most recent is The Trust Dimension, again, co-authored with Dan Wilford was written to help organizational leaders develop trust with their organizations as well as  between their organizations and the people they serve.
